Matching the footsteps of most biggies in Bollywood, actor Shahid Kapoor too, has now started asking producers for a share in the profits if they want to cast him in their next films.

Shahid recently demanded a huge sum from a prestigious banner and asked the producers to assign him a certain percentage of profits in the film. Besides raising his price after 'Jab We Met' the actor feels he is capable enough to draw crowds to the theatres and bring back worthwhile dividends to producers.

The point then raised is whether producers will be ready to give in to such demands and whether they think he deserves it. What is being said is that Shahid apparently asked five crores for a project and approximately 30-40% on the profits of the film.

In an industry where actors from Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan have received profits from their producers, Shahid has decided to join this race .Here’s wishing him all the best…!
